Good Faith Estimate Notice
Under the law, healthcare providers must give patients without insurance or those not using insurance an estimated cost of services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the total expected cost of any non-emergency services. Providers must give you this estimate in writing at least one business day before your scheduled service. You can also request an estimate before booking an appointment.
If your bill is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge.
Be sure to keep a copy of your estimate. For more details, call 800-985-3059.
